Fields of Fear Policies

IMPORTANT FIELDS OF FEAR RULES AND POLICIES

At Fields of Fear, your safety and well-being are our number one priority. The following rules and policies have been put in place to ensure that every guest has a frightful yet safe experience.

Fields of Fear is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. All children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. In addition to frightening imagery, you are likely to encounter large crowds, loud music and explicit language. Again, Fields of Fear is not intended for young children.

No alcohol, drugs, weapons or rowdy behavior.

No pets with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA. Emotional support, comfort or therapy animals are prohibited.

No touching, attacking or harming any Fields of Fear actors under any circumstances. Violators will immediately be turned over to on-site security.

Visitors are permitted to wear costumes as long as they are appropriate. No weapons, masks or gory/obscene costumes.

You may be touched by Fields of Fear actors, but you will not be forcefully struck or grabbed by any Cox Farms staff member or actor at any time.

If you violate any of the Fields of Fear rules posted around the property, you may be turned over to on-site security or police and ejected from Fields of Fear without a refund.

If it looks like we will experience some rain at Fields of Fear, we will announce one of the following prompts on our site or Info Line (703) 830-4121:

  • Open as usual unless the weather worsens
  • Wet Night at Fields of Fear: we are open but some attractions may be wet or temporarily closed during wet periods. Bring your wet weather gear and mud boots.
  • Rained-out Fields of Fear: we are forced to close Fields of Fear for the night due to the inclement weather.

In the event of a "wet" or "rained-out" night at Fields of Fear, you can obtain a full refund for your unused, pre-purchased tickets. Fear Deluxe tickets are valid only on the date listed on the ticket, so if you plan to attend a different night, you will need to get a refund for your original tickets and purchase new tickets.

To request a refund, login to your account, find your Fields of Fear tickets, and click the Request a Refund button.
