Fields of Fear Rules

The Fields of Fear rules include:

  • Fields of Fear is not recommended for children under 12 years old. All under 14’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+ years old). THIS IS NOT INTENDED FOR YOUNG KIDS! In addition to scary stuff, you will likely encounter large crowds, loud music, and foul language.
  • Review our accessibility info, warnings, disclaimers, and waivers prior to entering Fields of Fear. Make sure you are physically and emotionally able to handle it!
  • No alcohol, drugs, weapons, or rowdy behavior allowed.
  • Visitors are permitted to wear costumes as long as they are appropriate (not gory or obscene). No weapons (not even fake ones) or masks are allowed.
  •  No pets. Animals that meet the ADA definition of a service animal are welcome, but that does not include emotional support, comfort or therapy animals.
  • You may be touched by Fields of Fear “monsters”, but you will not be struck or grabbed by any Cox Farms staff member or actor.
  • Do NOT attack, touch or harm any Fields of Fear actors. Violators will be turned over to on-site security.
  •  In the event of rain, check our rain policy. Please note that the slides do not work in damp, misty, rainy, or extremely cold weather.
  •  If you violate any of the Fields of Fear rules posted around the Cox Farms property, you may be turned over to on-site security or Fairfax County Police and ejected from Fields of Fear without refund.
